Bayit Katan - Family Education Program
Bayit Katan (Little House of Learning) is a monthly program for children in the 4th and 5th grade and their parents.
It meets Sundays, 3:30-5:30 followed by a dairy/vegetarian potluck dinner.
Rabbi Tirzah Firestone and Morah Yehudis Fishman co-teach this vibrant, new program. Children and adults are split, with each instructor rotating between groups. Adults will get an in-depth look at the Kabbalah of the month, including holidays and Jewish spiritual practices to enrich our lives. Children will receive a monthly look at Jewish stories, holidays, words and parables of enchantment. Together, this an opportunity for everyone to form warm and
meaningful bonds with other families.
Dates: Sept. 26, Oct. 24, Nov. 14, Dec. 12, Jan. 9, Feb. 6, March 6, April 3, May 8.
Classes are held at Nevei Kodesh, 3269 28th St., Boulder. You can register with our school packet (see menu at left).
