Services

We offer community-wide Shabbat services twice monthly September through June. These alternate between rabbi-led, lay led and guest leaders. Our services are creatively filled with prayer, song, dance, storytelling and meditation. Services are 7-9 p.m., at Nevei Kodesh, 1925 Glenwood Drive. Dates for services through June are as follows:

In addition, we have special "Shabbos and a Movie" Friday evening monthly events for Teens, 6:30-10 p.m. These evenings are led by Maggid Charna Rosenholtz and include pizza dinner.

Generally,the fourth Friday of each month is a Havurah-style Shabbat. These are brief welcoming of Shabbat led by community members followed by a vegetarian/potluck dinner. They are a great way to meet people. Next dates are: Friday, Jan. 25, Friday, Feb. 22, Friday, March 22, Friday, April 26, Friday, May 24.

Family/Adult Shabbat Morning Services are offered each month September through June, 10 a.m.-noon, for all ages. (Please check calendar for dates.)

Services are normally held at our shul, 1925 Glenwood Drive. (Glenwood and 19th St.)

During the summer we have some special alternative services held at local parks.

Want to sponsor an Oneg Shabbat? This is a great way to honor an event or individual. Oneg sponsors can provide challah and treats after our service or simply donate $90 and we'll purchase everything needed. Now seeking sponsors for fall services.
