Funds

General Fund:

Contributions to this sustaining fund are essential to the economic stability of our growing community as the revenue from dues is not sufficient to support Nevei Kodesh's basic activities and programs. Donations to this fund allow us to support our programs, services, staff and daily functioning.

Building Fund:

This fund supports our dream of having a home of our own. Contributions go both to the cost of the building itself as well as associated expenses.

Burial Plot Fund:

This fund helps underwrite burial costs for indigent or low-income members of the community and their relatives.

Endowment Fund:

Contributions to this fund remain in perpetuity with only the interest used each year. Currently this fund is earmarked for special projects and building operations (once we have our own building.)

Rabbis' Discretionary Fund (Special Needs):

This fund is to be used by the rabbis for any purpose deemed necessary in a confidential manner, especially to assist community members in need for medical or financial reasons.

Religious School (Beit Sefer) Fund:

Contributions to this fund assist in scholarships for families who might not otherwise afford tuition and help with program development for Beit Sefer Chadash.

Scholarship Fund:

Contributions to this fund assist in scholarships for teens and adults seeking further education (e.g. Israel Study Tour, Davvenen Leaders Training, etc.)

Torah Fund:

This fund also helps with maintenance of the Sefer Torah, including repairs and insurance, as well as Torah mantles and related supplies.

LiveOn: Build Your Jewish Legacy Program

Nevei Kodesh has joined 27 other Jewish organizations as part of a two-year initiative supported by the Rose Foundation to raise an endowment through estate gifts. There are as many reasons to leave a bequest. How do you picture the future? How do you want to be remembered? Who has made a difference in your life? Leaving a bequest insures that the vibrant Judaism of the Nevei Kodesh Community will continue to flourish for generations to come. It is a means by which we can “live on” spiritually, even after our death, and thereby, allow others to live more fully into life. You can create a lasting tribute to honor family, friends and loved ones and leave the world a better place than you found it. Build your own Jewish legacy. Help Nevei Kodesh become more sustainable by leaving your bequest as a perpetual endowment. For information on bequests, you can go to the Live On Legacy website, or call our office to see how you can do this.
