Registration Now Open for Nevei Kodesh Religious School + Teen Programs
Welcome to Nevei Kodesh Religious School! Using a values-based, Jewish Renewal experiential education model, we share embodied spirituality and discovery for our students and families. Our children and teens experience wisdom, welcomed questioning and importance of self as we cultivate growth through joyous Judaism. Our welcoming community provides a space for our students, staff and families to shine as part of a group where everyone matters.
We are excited to have you join our programs this year! Whether you live in Colorado or across the country, our Hebrew Prayer + CTR (Crossing the River) online learning program for 4th - 7th graders offers experiential and connective prayer, Torah and Jewish Lifecycles learning on Tuesdays from 4:30-6pm.
On Sunday afternoons from 2:30-5pm, our entire community of students (preschool - teens) engages onsite in songs, prayer, Hebrew and experiential learning based on a Jewish value connected to the weekly parasha. Our CTR, 6th and 7th grade students, connect to Hebrew prayer and Torah through art, music, nature, tikkun olam and Jewish history. Our teens lead as madrichim, working in various jobs throughout our school as part of our staff while also engaging in their own social justice learning class once a month. Parent classes will also be offered throughout the year on Sundays.
This year, we are excited to add on-site Shabbat morning family programs that bring the Shabbat service to life through learning, movement, song and prayer. These Shabbats are scheduled Saturday mornings during the year and are designed to attend as a family as the students will be a part of the prayer leadership team. They are in addition to our beloved Friday night Shabbat Blessings and Songs that will remain as community programming, designed to create intergenerational connections online, to best accommodate family and community needs.
Our professional and caring staff, combined with our Nevei community, dedicated to Jewish learning and connection, are excited to learn and grow with your family this year.
Due to continued safety during Covid times, we will be meeting online for Tuesday afternoons and onsite for Sunday afternoons. We are taking necessary precautions to ensure cleanliness and safety for all students when onsite.
