Welcome to Nevei Kodesh Religious School!
We offer a creative, loving, engaging, inclusive and innovative learning environment. Our holistic and experiential approach honors the individuality of each child and our sense of belonging to the greater community. We share embodied spirituality and discovery for our students and families and cultivate growth through joyous Judaism. Our low student-to-teacher ratio allows for personalized attention.
We integrate the wisdom of these educational models:
Four Worlds Judaism: (Assiyah/earth/physical; Yetzirah/water/emotional; Briyah/air/intellectual; Atzilut/fire/spiritual)
Head/Heart/Hands: (Thinking, Feeling, Willing)
Multiple Intelligences: (Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, visual-spatial/artistic, linguistic, logical, naturalistic)
We draw from the deep wellsprings of our Jewish heritage and spiritual lineage and value diversity, gender inclusivity, social justice and tikkun olam (repairing the world). We breathe new life into our traditions, reinvigorating our connection to Judaism, making it meaningful, expansive and relevant for today.

Community Shabbat Services
Our entire community of students, Kindergarten through 7th grade, meets approximately two Sundays a month from 2:30pm-5pm at Nevei Kodesh for experiential Jewish Learning. Our teens lead as madrichim, serving as teacher's assistants. Parent classes are offered throughout the year during religious school hours and each Sunday we complete the day with an all-grades tefillah (song and prayer) time for the whole family.
The K'tanim Young Families class meets on Sundays for a musical circle time that introduces songs and prayers of the holidays and the cycle of the year. It is an opportunity for new and returning families with 0-4 yr. olds to connect, learn and celebrate together.
Our 4th-7th graders enrich their Hebrew and Jewish learning with an additional weekly Tuesday Zoom class from 4:30pm-6pm.
We have on-site Shabbat morning family services that are musical, joyful, spiritual and intergenerational! Often the students will participate in the prayer leadership.
In addition, our Friday night Zoom Shabbats bring the whole community together to light candles and invite in the peace and harmony of Shabbat with songs and blessings from the comfort of your own home.
We celebrate all of the major Jewish holidays together through family events that involve the greater Nevei Kodesh community!
