Read on for more information about Chai Mitzvah.
Chai Mitzvah
Chai Mitzvah is a unique nine-month Jewish learning experience designed especially for adults.
The course involves:
-
Nine text-based discussion classes, on topics such as Judaism and the environment, the ethics of interpersonal relationships, and bringing new meaning to the Passover Seder.
-
Each participant taking on a new ritual action (like lighting Shabbat candles each week, for instance) for the duration of the course.
-
Each participant taking on an additional contribution to society (like a regular commitment to help at a shelter, for instance) for the duration of the course.
These classes will be taught by Rav Bracha roughly one Sunday per month, November-June, from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
