This Family Potluck Shabbat will celebrate leadership and accomplishments of all of our school students.

We meet downstairs in the community room for a warm, welcoming Shabbat experience. With a vegetarian/dairy potluck dinner, and Shabbat rituals of candle‐lighting, blessing our children, making Kiddush (sanctifying Shabbat using wine or grape juice), breaking bread, and later singing grace after the meal, this is a sweet and soulful time.   We also sing songs, play games and ice‐breakers, and enjoy the gifts of our community’s expert storytellers!  

Family style Shabbat is designed with elementary‐aged children and their parents in mind, but all are always welcome. It’s great to have older adults join us too, to create a genuinely interconnected and intergenerational community.
