NEW CLASS! Jewish with Feeling: First Steps to a Jewish Renewal Practice

Jewish renewal is an inspirational and spiritual approach to an ancient tradition. Grounded in Divine mystery, infused with sacred text, and experienced through community, we learn to bring meaning to our Judaism. In this 6-week class, we will set a basic understanding of the principles and practices of Jewish renewal.
Although all 6 classes are recommended, please feel free to pick and choose.
All classes will meet from 6:30 – 8:00 PM
at Congregation Nevei Kodesh 1925 Glenwood Dr, Boulder CO
February 18: Jewish History on One Foot – 4000 years
February 25: Introduction to Jewish renewal – basic principles
March 3: Prayer
March 10: Shabbat
March 17: Four Worlds Perspective
March 22: The Holiday Cycle
Course Fee: Members, $12 per class. Non-members and guests, $18 per class

Maggid Charna Rosenholtz, MA is an accomplished teacher, specializing in psycho-spiritual growth and applications of spiritual wisdom. Ordained as a Hebrew wisdom teacher (Maggid) by Rabbis Zalman Schacter-Shalomi and Tirzah Firestone in 2007, she also holds a Masters degree in religious studies from Naropa University in Boulder. She studied closely with Reb Zalman from 2009-2014. A visionary, Charna believes in the role of Hebrew Scriptures as a living guide for becoming the best that we can be. She has studied with medicine women, clergy, and master teachers in relation to the development of human potential. Her passion, skill set in developing empowered learning environments, and caring presence create successful circles of learning. Charna has specialized in teaching and leading Torah studies since 1998 and has presented on issues of spirituality to all age groups. She teaches along the Front Range of Colorado and in Chicago, Illinois.
