Being witnessed and attended by loving community is one of the most supportive ways to assist our own individual processes - and to create the container for others. There is a great temptation for us to numb ourselves, to sink into despair - or to dive prematurely into action.

2. Resist Normalisation

Having a space to come together helps us to resist the normalisation of a political establishment that is overtly racist, xenophobic, misogynist, mendacious and divisive. Our questions and reflections keep us honest, keep us connected to the shared truth of what is happening.

We will keep reminding each other: this is NOT normal and NOT OK.

3. Generate Ideas

Our circle last week seemed to me to be a profoundly generative space. Having a regular open circle for one hour a week creates an opportunity for much connection and innovation to emerge.
