A New Monthly Reading and Discussion Group with Rav Bracha

Starting Sunday February 21st, 11am-12:30pm
Nevei Kodesh Library, 1925 Glenwood Drive, Boulder

In this first session we will explore the guiding principles of this class, as well as discussing the Jewish texts and values
that inform our concern.

Our first text for in-depth study (and reading at home!) will be the recent Papal encyclical "Laudato Si' - On Care for Our Common Home."

Laudato Si' can be downloaded from the internet as a pdf here or purchased in hard copy for under $10.

Participants will be expected to read texts outside of class, in order to enable deeper discussion during our time together.

Future texts will include selections from Rabbi David Seidenberg's Kabbalah and Ecology, as well as the work of Buddhist environmentalist Joanna Macy ... plus whatever books or films the group decides to study. This will be a co-created experience!

This class is being offered free of charge. Register below, or RSVP via phone (303-443-4567 x10) or email to office@neveikodesh.org if you are interested in joining the group.
