On the second day of Rosh HaShana, we head up into the mountains to the spectacular Shoshoni retreat center. There we spend the morning in deep kirtan-style prayer and devotional song, offering our prayers for personal and collective healing. We conclude our service with shofar-blowing, kiddush and tashlich (the release of old karma) at the lake, following which participants can choose to share in a delicious vegetarian meal provided by the Shoshoni center. Shoshoni's grounds host many miles of trails through exquisite fall scenery, so many participants choose to augment their worship experience with a gorgeous afternoon hike. Outdoor Programming for older children and teens is available, as well as childcare for those under 5.
