Bonai Shalom and Nevei Kodesh Selichot Program and Service: Transforming Ourselves and the World to Seek Justice- In preparation for the High Holidays

“Come share our Tent”

Hineh ma tov uma na'im, Shevet achim gam yachad.

The year 5780 has taught us a lot about resilience, deep self-reflection, and mutual care for our neighbors. As the High Holidays approach, Bonai Shalom and Nevei Kodesh are combining our efforts and voices to serve the Boulder Jewish Community. It is customary the Saturday evening before Rosh HaShanah to gather for prayers of forgiveness and begin the teshuvah process of introspection and change.  Our Selichot services will be in Hebrew and English lead by Rabbi Marc Soloway, Chazzan Jan Kirschner, Ba'alat Tefillah/Chazzan Michelle Wolf and Maggid Charna Rosenholtz. The program includes a short video and discussion on dismantling racism in the Jewish community, contemplative prayer and meditation, traditional piyyutim, and interaction. We invite you to an evening to inspire us all to actions of healing and greater connectivity in a fractured world.

Please join together with us on Saturday, September 12, at 8:00 pm
