Shabbat Morning Prayer Circle, lay member-led

Saturday, February 20, 2016 11 Adar I 5776

10:00 AM - 11:30 AMCongregation Nevei Kodesh, 1925 Glenwood Drive, Boulder, CO

Prayer, reflection, and community with song and chanting (Mizrachi melodies by Ian), guided imagery, and meaningful readings.  Experience how the morning prayers can help us start our day with gratitude, awe and acknowledgment for creation, the divine, and our responsibility to others. Parasha Tetzaveh ("You shall command") begins with instructions for lighting the Ner Tamid (the Eternal Light). How do we individually and as a community keep our Ner Tamid illuminated? Join us in our contemplation.

Shaping and leading the services this Shabbat will be Ed Kass and Ian McPherson. Kiddush will follow (challah and juice/wine are provided.)

Shabbat Circle is free and open to the public. All are warmly invited!

Our Shabbat Circle: a space to go deeper into Shabbat… A space for reflection, contemplation, and connection. Music, chants, meaningful readings, and guided imagery help move us through our Shabbat liturgy: gratitude, awareness of the Oneness or Source beyond us, our responsibility to others, praise for the miracle of creation, and our personal relationship with the mystery, with G-d, or the Higher Power of our understanding.
