Yom Kippur Torah and Yizkor Service

Thursday, September 16, 2021 10 Tishrei 5782

1:00 PM - 2:30 PMIn person, Outside at Nevei Kodesh

Join Congregation Nevei Kodesh for a Yom Kippur Torah service centered around compassion and holiness. We will be reading sections of the ‘Holiness Code’ from our Torah scroll and explore what holiness (kedushim) might mean to each of us uniquely – and in community – as we enter a new year of co-creation. As we explore the truths of our lives in this moment, we reach for a vision of a gentler, more compassionate next unfolding with ourselves, with one another, with the world and with All That Is. The Torah service will be immediately followed by Yizkor, where we will include in our thoughts and prayers those whose souls have moved beyond this material realm, yet continue to guide and inspire our community and our choices.

Led by Rabbi Diane, Rabbinic Pastor Nalini, Glenn Spitz, and Sheldon Sands
