Tu B'Shevat - Come celebrate together and honor the trees! The Fifteenth of Shvat is a day on which many kabbalists (and hopefully others too!) try to get as close as possible to the Garden of Eden, to taste of its fruit, and to heal its damaged trees. Tu B'Shvat is a day of ecological tikkun olam, of repairing the planet. To honor this repair, please join us for an evening celebrating trees. Come and, if you would like, bring an offering of something to share with the group - perhaps a poem, short story, photograph, artwork, or inspired movement that speaks to you on this holiday. If you can, please bring some bring dried fruit and nuts to share - Figs, pomegranates olives, dates, and carob are customary. Candles are welcome as well. We will have a brief meditation, ritual ceremony, and then share our offerings. A free event
