AT BONAI SHALOM! Yom HaShoah v’HaGevurah, a Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust and the Heroism, begins with a program for middle schoolers, which includes a pizza dinner beginning at 5:15 p.m. led by Barbara Steinmetz, a Holocaust survivor.

A community commemoration service at 7 p.m. features two guest speakers.Bonai Shalom member and Holocaust survivor Barbara Steinmetz will talk about “An Act of Remembrance… Told as a Reminder to Act!” Frank Kogen, from the University of Colorado and Out Boulder County, will speak about “Yellow Stars and Pink Triangles - Badges of Oppression/Symbols of Survival.”
