7 - 8pm • Honey pots for preschool - 3rd grade
7:30 - 9pm • “Infusing Jewish Values into my New Year” for 4th-7th graders

Rosh HaShana, day one • Monday, September 10 (Unity Church)
9:15am - 3pm • childcare with Rosh Hashana learning stations • ages 0-9 years
10am - 10:45am • Tova Jacober shares Rosh Hashana storytelling, music and dancing for children + parents •       designed for preschool - 3rd grade
11am - 12:30pm • Holiday programming for preteens + teens with Amy Atkins
1pm - 1:45pm • Sweet New Year! Beekeeper visits (all ages)

Rosh HaShana, Day two • Tuesday September 11 @Shoshoni Yoga Retreat Center in Rollinsville
9:15 - 12:30 pm • childcare for ages 0-4
9:30am - 12:30pm • Rosh HaShana Hike with Amy Atkins • ages 5 and up (children 4 and under are welcome to attend the hike with parents/guardians)
Note: Adults/teens may participate in meditative/contemplative program 9:30 - 12:30pm
All will have "tashlich" (symbolic casting of sins into water), followed by shofar blowing 12:30 - 1pm
Optional lunch: 1 - 2pm


This retreat is separate from other holiday registration and will sell out in August.

Yom Kippur • Wednesday, September 19 (Unity Church)
9:15am - 3pm • childcare with Yom Kippur learning stations • ages 0-9 years
10am - 10:45am • Yom Kippur Family Service + Program designed for 0-9 years
10am - 11:30am • Yom Kippur Programming for preteens + teens with Amy Atkins
11:15am - 12pm • Kaiut Yoga “A Gentle New Year” designed for ages 0-9 years
12:15pm • Children’s lunch time (children must bring their own nut-free lunches) 
1pm - 1:45pm • Sharing Jewish Values in Our World for preschool - 3rd grade
1pm - 1:45pm • Giving Back to the Community Creative for 4th-7th grade
5pm - 8pm • childcare and Yom Kippur learning stations • ages 0-9 years

8pm Break (the) Fast Meal - children are welcome to attend with their families!

Childcare and children's programs are available during all services at Unity for no fee, provided you register your child in advance. Walk-in childcare is available, space permitting, for $15 per child, per service.

Important Things to Know...

All children need to be signed in and signed out by parent or guardian when attending childcare.

•Allergy-friendly, healthy snacks will be provided for every childcare session; children are welcome to also pack their own nut-free snacks.

• Bringing children's water bottles labeled with their names are encouraged.

• Families are responsible to pack their children's own nut-free lunches; we will not be providing lunch.  (Only meals provided are optional lunch at Shoshoni retreat on 2nd Day Rosh HaShana and Break Fast meal after Yom Kippur.)

• For safety, children need to stay in the activities or childcare areas with our educators; children will not be able to wander around or back and forth.  If parents would like their children to attend the regular services, they are welcome to take them to the service and bring them back to our childcare or activities when ready.

• Older children and preteens must be in our planned activities or with parents in the service; for safety reasons, they will not be able to wander around teh facilities.

• We may venture outside for playtime; if it's chilly, please bring your child a jacket or appropriate clothing.
