Ritualize Elul

Join Jenna Zadaka at Nevei Kodesh for a 4-week embodiment series through the Hebrew month of Elul, the final month of the Hebrew calendar that invites us to soften, forgive, and prepare for the new year ahead. This sacred portal invites us into Teshuva: Returning to our authentic self. This series will offer Elul-inspired yoga, Jewish meditation, and Torah learning focused on this auspicious month for Cheshbon HaNefesh (Accounting of the Soul).

High Holy Days Song Session

This High Holy Days, Nevei will bring back a singing and davening team, led by Student Hazzan, Ev Evnen. This group will support the services with beautiful connections and harmonies. We will meet three times for rehearsals, focusing not just on the music, but also on creating meaningful spiritual connections with each other.

Kabbalat Shabbat of Joy & Hope

Join this energizing bima band for an evening of community song and prayer, just 10 days before Rosh Hashanah. We’ll sing for connection and healing as we celebrate Shabbat and the turning of the year. 

Led by Shlichat Tzibbur Michelle Wolf with extraordinary musicians Eyal Rivlin, Joe Lukasik, Susan Berman, and Eric Alterman.

S'lichot with Jenna Zadakah and Elana Brody

Saturday, September 13 | 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM | In person & Zoom


Come to Nevei Kodesh for an alternative s'lichot (forgiveness) service in community. You can expect a ceremony of heart-song, forgiveness (s'lichot), embodied practice, and ritual to return to the wholeness of your heart. We’ll transition into Havdalah to bless the week ahead and prepare our hearts for Rosh Hashanah.

Chanting Circle with Ziva Moyal

Wednesday, September 17 | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM | Zoom

With our chanting, we use sacred verses from the Torah with prayerful melodies (mostly from Rabbi Shefa Gold), to ‘call’ God, and affirm our relationship with the Divine.
