Passover story-telling gathering with Rabbi Diane, Ari Sharfstein - and you!!!

Friday, April 7, 2023 16 Nisan 5783

6:00 PM - 7:15 PMNevei Kodesh, in-person only

"Telling a story can be compared to building a home or sacred lodge for the imagination. This lodge is a place of giving witness to one's truth, of opening one's voice and body, of surrendering to the story's own transcendent wisdom."  (Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb)

One of the central mitzvot of Passover is to retell the story of how the Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt. Each year we re-enact this liberation around our Seders, seeking to re-experience this moment in the present, to weave our personal narratives of getting 'stuck' and 'unstuck' into the wider redemptive narrative of our tradition.

Please join us for an in-person, community-wide story-telling gathering. Through speaking and witnessing one another's stories, we hope to create space to open our hearts and souls to the transformative and transcendent wisdom of our narratives. Along the way, we will also have an opportunity to come to know one another in new ways.

There will be multiple opportunities to share our stories in small and larger groups and celebrate our personal and collective heart-opening transformations together through musical prayer and song.
