Lunch and Learn Series (Holding Complexity, Cultivating Possibility) with Rabbi Diane

This series is for members of CNK and those actively interested in exploring membership in our community.

Rabbi Diane will be offering these classes as a ‘lunch and learn’ - you bring your lunch (physical nourishment) and she will provide thoughtful texts and prompts for nourishment in the other 3 worlds (emotional, cognitive, spiritual). 

Through the prism of the ‘big 4’ – Prayer, God, Torah, and Israel – we will explore how our ongoing experience of these core Jewish practices and ideas are being transformed in our personal and communal lives by the complexity of the current, historical moment.

Over the course of the series, participants will be encouraged to "try on" new practices and ways of expressing ourselves in prayer – and to explore how to authentically wrestle with sacred texts and theological ideas – in ways that allow us to hold complexity and generate a sense of hope and possibility at the same time.
