High Holy Day Tzedaka Funds
High Holy Day Tzedakah Funds
Jews throughout the world share in the righteous act of giving tzedakah at holiday times. The act of tzedakah (literally, creating justice in the world) is especially crucial during the auspicious time of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, when we are squaring all our accounts with God, ourselves, and others.
Below are the funds we are supporting this year in 5785/2024.
Please fill out the form below or mail us a check to give.
Nevei Kodesh: Giving generously to Nevei Kodesh allows our congregation to serve you and one another, by helping us fulfill our essence: heartfelt, transformational Judaism. Nevei Kodesh creates the kind of Judaism that so many long for – spiritual, inclusive, egalitarian, activating and full of joy. Your generous gift serves to strengthen our community to ensure a vibrant Jewish future for all. Fill in the form below to donate online or you can send a check to Nevei Kodesh, 1925 Glenwood Drive, Boulder, CO 80304.
Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action: Dayenu is building a dynamic, multi-generational movement of American Jews courageously confronting the climate crisis. Dayenu partners closely with other organizations and efforts — within and beyond the Jewish community — to help bring the full strength and voice of the American Jewish community to national and global movements. They also work arm in arm with communities that are directly impacted by, and most vulnerable to, the climate crisis. Since 2023, Nevei Kodesh has put on two public events partnered with Dayenu as part of their grassroots leadership program, Dayenu Circles.
Pachamama Alliance: Pachamama’s mission is to empower Indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture and, using insights gained from that work, to educate and inspire individuals everywhere to bring forth a thriving, just and sustainable world. With roots deep in the Amazon rainforest, Pachamama’s programs integrate Indigenous wisdom with modern knowledge to support personal, and collective, transformation that is the catalyst to bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet.
