On the second day of Rosh HaShana, we head up into the mountains to the spectacular Shoshoni retreat center. There we spend the morning in deep kirtan-style prayer and devotional song, offering our prayers for personal and collective healing. We conclude our service with shofar-blowing, kiddush and tashlikh (the release of old karma) at the lake, following which participants can choose to share in a delicious vegetarian meal provided by the Shoshoni center. You may also bring your own meal. Shoshoni's grounds host many miles of trails through exquisite fall scenery, so many participants choose to augment their worship experience with a gorgeous afternoon hike. Outdoor Programming for older children and teens is available, as well as childcare for those under 5.
