Note: These gatherings would likely be small, we don't expect you to host all students!
Examples include: sponsoring an oneg (grape juice and challah and other light refreshments) after a Saturday morning service, being a guest speaker (or inviting one!), teach an activity, song, recipe, or art project, and more!

Payment Methods:

After submitting this form, if you are paying by check or another arrangement, please select "bill to my account". You can contact the office to make other payment arrangements.

Parent-Student Expectations and Policies: Please Read Below

Attendance Expectations:

Students are expected to be present for the majority of scheduled class times. Our religious school meets on a part-time basis, thus every class is essential in meeting the learning goals for the curriculum. Attendance is very important both for the growth of the individual students as well as the whole class community.

Parents are expected to notify the Religious School director of absences.

Membership Policy:

As per the Nevei Kodesh by-laws, first year families are not required to be members of Nevei Kodesh, except for students in Crossing the River (pre-B'nai Mitzvah class) and Madrichim.

Returning families (second year and beyond) are required to become members of the congregation. Contact admin3636@neveikodesh.org with any questions or concerns.

Cancellation Policy:

Students are allotted one trial class before committing to the year, not including the Welcome Back Field Day on Sunday, August 24, 2025.

Prior to the second class, a tuition payment plan must be in place (or paid in full).

Tuition is non-refundable if you discontinue with Religious School. This policy is in place because the teachers have already been contracted and materials have been purchased for your child/ren.
Behavioral Policy:

We strive to create an inviting school culture where we treat one another with kindness and respect. We want everyone to feel safe. If an incident or behavior arises in which a student or teacher feels that these values are not upheld, we will schedule a conference with parents, students, teachers, and our Religious School Director to address the situation and determine next steps. We do not tolerate violence or disrespect, whether verbal or physical. If this becomes an issue that leads to expulsion, tuition remains non-refundable.
