10:00 AM - 12:00 PMTBD

Join various spiritual leaders and teachers from across CNK and beyond to discover new, diverse and spiritually productive pathways to Torah study in 2022! Monthly Shabbat morning sessions will offer opportunities to delve deeply into – and wrestle with – our sacred text in community.

Connect with Nature, Connect with Torah! Spirit Hike with Jon.

Join us for a Shabbat morning hike to connect with the natural world and delve more deeply into our tradition's teachings. At this time of year, in the middle of the Omer count, we'll open to what we can learn about Torah and the journey from liberation (Passover) to revelation (Shavuot) through the more-than-human world. Although we'll be walking for about two hours, the point will not be to get anywhere. We'll stop periodically to observe, listen, attune to our surroundings and its shefa/flow, learn, and perhaps chant a bit.

Cost:  Included in membership. Guests $18 per session.

Lead by Jon Gottsegen

Location: We will meet at Nevei Kodesh and caravan to the Anne U. White trail head.  Please contact Jon at jongottsegen@gmail.com if you have any questions.

About Jon: In addition to teaching the 4th-5th grade class at Nevei Kodesh, Jon is a Mashpia, a Spiritual Director, certified through the Aleph Alliance, as well as a "Torah Trek" guide and Forest Bathing guide. He has been involved in earth-based spiritual practices for many years, and loves sharing what we can learn from the outdoors with others.
