“Listen! Israel, Listen! Still the mind’s chatter, quiet the heart’s desire…This One alone is God.” (Rabbi Rami Shapiro)

Spend the weeks leading up to Revelation at Mt Sinai on Shavuot taking a deeper dive into listening for/to Source. Together, we will explore different ways of praying/playing the Sh’ma in order to open our hearts up to the act of witnessing and accepting Truth (Emet) and Love (Ahava) and embracing any resistances we have along the way.

This class, taught by Rabbi Diane Tiferet Lakein, is open to all; newcomers and drop-ins welcome! Following our textual exploration of the Sh’ma in Part One, these next 3 classes will focus on experimenting with diverse spiritual practices centered around this central Jewish prayer.

You may take the class at noon on Wednesdays or Thursday evenings. If you sign up for the entire series and need to shift class day/time in any week you will be allowed to do so. Please register separately to take this series on Thursdays.

Cost: $10 members/$12 guests per class

While the classes build on one another, drop-ins are always welcome
