Volunteers are needed!

Sukkot is a week-long holiday that comes five days after Yom Kippur. Sukkot celebrates the gathering of the harvest and commemorates the miraculous protection G‑d provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. We celebrate Sukkot by dwelling in a foliage-covered booth, known as a sukkah.

We need Volunteers! We have a permanent wood frame for our sukkah. We have materials in storage. We use bamboo rolls to serve as our roof. Secure the bamboo rolls with zip ties to withstand winds. Next we use sheets or cloths as walls. The ceiling and walls are decorated to celebrate the harvest. It is a ton of fun, join us!
