2nd Day Rosh Hashanah Outdoor - Shofar and Tashlich - All Ages

Tuesday, September 27, 2022 2 Tishrei 5783

5:00 PM - 6:00 PMScott Carpenter Park

Rosh Hashanah ... it’s one of the most important Holy Days in the Jewish calendar. It's the Jewish New Year, anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, a day of judgment and coronation. The Jewish New Year greetings reflect our prayers for a good, sweet year ahead. On the first night of Rosh Hashanah, we wish l'shanah tovah tikatevu v'techatemu: "May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year."

Some participate in a ceremony called tashlich whereby misdeeds of the past year (symbolized by bread crumbs) are symbolically thrown into a flowing body of water.

This event is in-person ONLY, and outdoors, at Scott Carpenter Park, in Boulder. To register for this event, please fill out a registration form below.
