Erev Rosh HaShanah Community Service
Sunday, September 25, 2022 • 29 Elul 5782
7:00 PM - 9:00 PMSanctuaryRosh Hashanah marks so many things—the “birthday” of creation, the new Jewish year, and the launch of the 10 Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim).
Also called Yom haZicharon—the day of remembering—we come together to remember and renew our personal connections with Spirit, and our place within the collective Jewish people.
On the first night of Rosh Hashanah, we wish one another: “L'shanah tovah tikatevu v'techatemu” (“May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year”).
This service led by Ba’alat Tefilah Michelle Wolf and musicians Sheldon Sands, Joe Lukasik, and Susan Berman, with musical offerings from Hazzan Shayndel Adler and a special D’var Torah by Rabbi Diane Tiferet Lakein.
Join us for this musically rich and uplifted time of prayer and song, in community!
Held in-person at Nevei Kodesh, and also live-streamed on Zoom. Please register using the form below.
