Friday Night Kabbalat Shabbat led by Rabbi Aura Ahuvia

Friday, October 8, 2021 2 Cheshvan 5782

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

In this week’s parsha, God instructs Noah: tzohar ta’aseh la-teivah, “add a skylight in the Ark.” Interestingly, the word for ark, teivah, also means “word”-- a vehicle conveying meaning. 18th-century Hassidic master the Ba’al Shem Tov taught that our prayers create an “ark,” and that the “skylight” is what enables our words to connect beyond the restraints of our lives.

Come explore additional dimensions of these teachings at this musically rich Nevei Kodesh service on Zoom.
