Songs of the High Holy Days 

This High Holy Days, Nevei will bring back a singing and davening team, led by Student Hazzan, Ev Evnen. This group will support the services with beautiful connections and harmonies. We will meet three times for rehearsals, focusing not just on the music, but also on creating meaningful spiritual connections with each other. Our theme this year is "Mayim Chayim: Practices for Spiritual Renewal," and much of our music will reflect that motif. Pieces will include both new and familiar tunes, including "All The Leaves" by Batya Levine, "Ya'aleh" by Joey Weisenberg, and the Nevei standard "Zochreinu". The davening team will be encouraged to attend and help with the kahal-wide High Holy Days song session on September 7th at 4:30 pm.
