Saturday Morning Service led by Rabbi Charna Rosenholtz
Saturday, March 20, 2021 • 7 Nisan 5781
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMJoin Rabbi Charna Rozenholtz for the first Shabbat of the month of Nissan, a month of beginnings and springing forward. In this time of the year we are preparing for Passover and as such, we look for our inner Chametz, those inflated parts of ourselves that are in need of repair and refinement. There is an opportunity to practice Shiviti with these parts of ourselves, where we look at these parts, placing them before us to really see them as a way to aid us in our process.
Rabbi Charna Rosenholtz, MA. is an accomplished teacher specializing in psycho-spiritual growth and applications of spiritual wisdom. Ordained as a Hebrew wisdom teacher (Maggid) by Rabbi’s Zalman Schacter-Shalomi and Tirzah Firestone in 2007, she also holds a Master's degree in comparative religious studies from Naropa University in Boulder. A visionary, Charna believes in the role of Hebrew Scriptures as a living guide for becoming the best that we can be. Charna has specialized in teaching and leading Torah studies since 1998 and has presented on issues of spirituality to all age groups. Rabbi Charna was Ordained as a Rabbi in 2021 through Aleph: Alliance for Jewish Renewal.
A healing arts practitioner since 1985, Charna has studied with medicine women, clergy, and master teachers of health and human potential. Charna weaves embodied practices, felt-sense awareness, and contemplative exercises into the learning experience. Her skill set in developing empowered learning environments creates successful circles of learning. Currently a Rabbinic student with Aleph Alliance for Jewish Renewal, her classes are taught in Boulder, Fort Collins, and Chicago, Illinois.
Charna woke to the inner voice of spirit when she was ten years old and has been seeking ever since for ways to be in right relationship with the soul's journey. Along her spiritual journey she has traveled in 29 countries and 49 states. In addition to travel she enjoys spending time in community, in friendship, in nature, conscious breathing and gardening.
