On this day of the Shavuot, a time of revelation from Mt. Sinai, we’ll be on our own mountain top (Table Mesa/NCAR), where we'll go for a short walk (half mile/easy) on a nature trail with views in all direction to harvest our own personal Torah revelation for this time, followed by a Yizkor memorial service to remember those we have lost. 

We'll meet at the Tree Plaza on the east side of the NCAR building.  (Take steps or ramp up towards main entrance, head a bit south up a few steps and then go left/down to the Tree Plaza and picnic table area.) From there, with guided prompts, we will head out together to the Walter Orr Weather/Nature trail.  Please bring water and a journal to write/draw/meditate while we're on that trail.  We’ll walk back together to the Tree Plaza by 6pm for a Yizkor service. (5-6pm gather and nature walk, 6-6:30 Yizkor Service)

*The NCAR facility is open to the public until 5pm, though grounds and trailheads remain open afterwards. You may wish to come earlier than our gathering to take advantage of their wonderful exhibits. In addition to their many interactive displays on weather and climate, there is currently an excellent juried art show, “Exploring Water through Art” in the Mesa Café
