Hoshana Rabbah, with Rav Bracha and LJL students

Sunday, October 23, 2016 21 Tishrei 5777

11:30 AM - 12:30 PMNevei Kodesh Sukkah

The seventh day of Sukkot is Hoshana Rabbah - the great hoshana ("save us!"), on which the community comes together to pray for rain and divine assistance in the coming year. We will circle the sukkah seven times with prayers, songs and poetry for rain between each circuit, and conclude the ceremony with beating out the willow branches from our Lulav sets. If you'd like to know more about Hoshana Rabbah, there's a wikipedia article here.

All are invited to join Rav Bracha and our religious school students and families for this important hour of prayer and ritual.

Please bring some willow branches, and an instrument if you play.
