Kinder-1st Grade Class
Kinder-1st Grade Class
Sundays on site 2:30pm-5:00pm
Our kindergartners and 1st graders learn about Jewish values (Mitzvot), holidays, Shabbat, and Hebrew, through an experiential, hands-on, artistic and joyful adventure!
All grades join together on Sundays at the end of the school day for community tefillah (prayer) from 4:30pm-5pm. Parents are invited to attend!
* 4 year olds who feel developmentally ready to attend religious school may also join this class.

Led byTeacher Asherah Adler-Eldridge (She/Her/Hers)
This is my second year as the Kinder-1st Grade Lead Teacher.
I have been surrounded by education and Judaism my whole life. Growing up in a household with a cantor/educator has given me incredible insight into what a positive impact a great teacher can have upon students.
I assisted as a madricha in religious school for three years for preschool through seventh grade classes and was gifted by the minds and interactions of every age group.
For five years, I was the Tot Shabbat and holiday programming assistant for families with young children alongside Hazzan Shayndel at Congregation Bet Haverim in Davis, CA. It was inevitable that I would fall in love with early childhood curriculum and the joyful energy of preschoolers, kindergartners and first graders.
