March 5th, Pathways to Torah Study
Led by Hazzan Shayndel Adler
Join Hazzan Shayndel Adler in a scholarly exploration of the various channels for attaining Divine Will in ancient Israel.
Most attention to divinatory activity in the Torah has been focused on the male prophets, yet many more women officiated other types of divination. Learn about Israelite priestesses and the women in the Torah who prophesize, divine or engage in magic. Examining them gives us a more complete picture of the world of Israelite divination.
Offered Every Month Over Zoom on the Following Saturdays
April 30th
