This Elul chanting circle will help us further open our hearts to the Divine as the High Holy Days approach.

We use sacred verses from the Bible with prayerful melodies (most by Rabbi Shefa Gold) to express our yearning for G-d’s connection & support, and to reach G-d’s deepest presence within us.

"Neuroscience… shows that when we sing our neurotransmitters connect in new and different ways. It fires up the right temporal lobe of our brain, releasing endorphins that make us smarter, healthier, happier and more creative. When we sing with other people this effect is amplified."
